Understanding Creator DID Verification

A Creator DID (Decentralized Identifier) is a cryptographically-secured identity document that proves creator authenticity through multiple layers of verification.

🔐 What We Verify

  • Cryptographic Signature: Ensures the document hasn't been tampered with
  • Timestamp Validation: Confirms when the identity was created and last updated
  • Controller Verification: Validates who controls this identity
  • Document Structure: Ensures compliance with DID standards

🎯 Why This Matters

  • Prevent Identity Theft: Cryptographic proof prevents impersonation
  • Enable Trust: Fans and collaborators can verify authenticity
  • Transparent Attribution: Clear ownership and contribution tracking
  • Future-Proof: Works across platforms and services

🔍 Technical Details

OCME Creator DIDs use industry-standard cryptographic methods including Ed25519 signatures, SHA-256 hashing, and W3C DID specifications to ensure maximum security and interoperability.
